How much does the ASPHALTKIND Performance roof box cost?
We custom-build the roof box in our workshop according to the customer's specifications. The price is based on a quote tailored to the customer's needs. It's similar to configuring your own supercar.
On average, a final configuration—which may include optional personal delivery and support—ranges from €7,900 to €18,900 net. This often amounts to only a few percent of the vehicle's total value.

Opening the roof box via the app
To make things more convenient (forgotten keys, frozen lock, dirty clothes), we've developed a system that lets you control the roof box via smartphone (Bluetooth):

What is the speed limit when driving with a roof box?
The use of carbon fiber, combined with aerodynamics (CW 0.11) and a sophisticated engineering process, makes high speeds possible. The list of current customer vehicles (Question 2 in the FAQ) underscores this unique selling point.
Extensive test drives were conducted on the Nordschleife.
Unlike plastic competitors with thin walls and more brittle materials—which are also used by OEMs—the ASPHALTKIND roof box not only offers general prestige but also the welcome benefit of very low wind noise, achieved through refinements in the smallest details that are unprofitable for mass-production manufacturers.

What does "Travel Performance" mean?
Travel Performance describes products and solutions that make exceptional vehicles more suitable for travel without compromising on design, weight, aerodynamics, or driving dynamics.
Where is my roof box manufactured?
At our own fiber-reinforced composite manufacturing facility in Unna. That’s where we manufacture the carbon fiber components and assemble the roof boxes ourselves.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. By appointment, you can visit us in Unna, tour the production facility, and, if you’d like, observe a small, relevant step in the manufacturing process of your own roof box.
Does ASPHALTKIND also ship internationally?
Yes. ASPHALTKIND roof boxes are used worldwide. We coordinate shipping, in-person delivery, and assistance with the initial installation on a case-by-case basis.
What kind of warranty is included?
We provide a 24-month manufacturer's warranty on the ASPHALTKIND Performance roof box, effective from the date of handover or delivery. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights regarding defects. You can find details in our warranty terms and conditions.
