IX. Social media plugins
On our website, we use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in order to promote our company. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be ensured by the respective providers. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.
1. Facebook
Our website uses social media plugins from Facebook to personalize your experience. We use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button for this purpose. This is a service offered by Facebook. When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your internet browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your Internet browser and integrated into the website. By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your Internet browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your Internet browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends. Facebook may use this information for advertising, market research, and the needs-based design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest, and relationship profiles, e.g., to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).
2. Instagram
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera." When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your internet browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Instagram to your Internet browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your Internet browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your Internet browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts there. If you do not want Instagram to associate the data collected via our website directly with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. For more information, please refer to Instagram's privacy policy (https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388).

Our website incorporates plugins from YouTube that can be played directly from our website. The operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your internet browser establishes a direct connection to YouTube's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from YouTube to your Internet browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, YouTube receives the information that your Internet browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a YouTube or Google account or are not currently logged in to YouTube or Google. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your Internet browser directly to a YouTube server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to YouTube or Google, YouTube can immediately assign your visit to our website to your YouTube or Google account. If you do not want this assignment to your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned in section IV. 1. of this statement is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in to or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want your data to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right.
Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plugin provider can be found in the provider's privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
5. Vimeo
Our website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. The Vimeo server is informed which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have a Vimeo account. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the USA.
If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you enable Vimeo to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Vimeo's privacy policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

(https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google") on our website to tailor our web presence to your needs and to continuously optimize it. The software uses cookies on the user's computer (for more information on cookies, see section IV) to enable an analysis of the user's use of our website. For this purpose, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used. This involves collecting information about your use of our website, such as
- Browser type/version,
- operating system used,
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- Time of server request
transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of this website. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that they cannot be assigned (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on this link tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again. For more information about data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please refer to the Google Analytics Help Center (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).

a. Description and scope of data processing
We also use Google Conversion Tracking from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GoogleAds"). GoogleAds places a cookie (see section IV.) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the GoogleAds customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, GoogleAds and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Data protection authorities require a data processing agreement to be concluded for the permissible use of Google Analytics. A corresponding template is offered by GoogleAds at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.pdf.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the Google Ads cookie is used to compile Google Ads statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Google Ads customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose—for example, by changing your browser settings to disable the automatic setting of cookies in general. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by disabling interest-based ads on Google and interest-based Google ads on the web (within the Google Display Network) in your browser by clicking the "Off" button at www.google.de/settings/ads.
