In December 2022, the time had finally come: we delivered our first customer roof boxes.
Especially for the first deliveries, it was important to us to personally deliver the ASPHALTKIND "Cropfiber" roof box to pre-order customers in Austria and southern Germany. In addition, installation was to be carried out at the same time.
Understandably, such a delivery is not possible with our 911. So a van was rented, which had enough space for the two jewelry roof boxes. In addition, some luggage filled the cargo area, as our founder and managing director Nils had combined the delivery with a short vacation.
The weather forecast looked good when we left Dortmund, but shortly before reaching our first stop near Stuttgart, it started snowing. This later turned into freezing rain, which caused the windshield to freeze over.
The perfect roof box for the BMW X5
Upon arrival at the customer's premises, the ASPHALTKIND box was explained in detail and its most important features, such as the electric locking system, were demonstrated. Opening the box via remote control never fails to impress! This is a truly unique selling point, alongside the perfect aerodynamics and attractive design. In our opinion, the latter in particular is a perfect fit for the BMW X5M, the new home of the first ASPHALTKIND "Cropfiber" roof box to be delivered .
ASPHALTKIND box on the Lamborghini URUS
After a brief stop near Lake Constance, we headed towards Innsbruck.
After a leisurely lunch with the customer, we had the opportunity to place our lightweight box on a yellow Lamborghini Urus.
The combination of the ASPHALTKIND roof box and the Urus is "poetic." It is always striking that our roof box, developed for the 911, is designed for a wide range of models and body styles. It impresses with its design and lightweight construction.

Top match: ASPHALTKIND & the Audi RS6
Station wagon drivers are particularly interested in our roof boxes. Among them are several Audi RS6 drivers. This includes our customer, who configured his Audi RS6 with the special "Goodwood Green" paint finish.
In our opinion, our roof box is the perfect solution for the Audi RS6. Especially considering that you "drive faster sometimes" and don't want to ruin the beautiful design of the car with a standard box. Matching the carbon add-on parts, the ASPHALTKIND "Cropfiber" roof box also features a fiber optic design. In keeping with the understated look of this customer box, this only catches the eye upon closer inspection!
Right after installation, we headed straight to Italy with the ski box to enjoy a few runs over the weekend. Subsequent conversations made it clear: the box made quite an impression in the ski lift parking lots. In addition to "thumbs up," there were many interested people who took a photo or two. The RS6 with ASPHALTKIND roof box is a real eye-catcher!
After delivery, we headed back to Dortmund, where a new product category is currently being developed in our factory: the ASPHALTKIND "Carbon" roof box...
